Dr. Rizwan
Hasan Khan, Lecturer in the Unit, obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in
Biotechnology from Aligarh Muslim University. He worked at the National
Institute of Immunology on a post doctoral position before joining the Unit as a
Lecturer. Visited the Laboratory of Prof. I.J. Goldstein at the Michigan State
University, Ann Arbor, USA on a Department of Science & Technology Fellowship.
Currently engaged in the screening of legume and non-legume sources for
identification and characterization of novel lectins. The investigations also
include studies on the interaction of lectins with rhizobia. Published over 10
research papers in journals of international repute and obtaining funding from
CSIR.
